Kaffrine : Coup de filet à Diamagadio, 7 kg de chanvre indien saisis
According to security sources, this action follows the exploitation of intelligence indicating the existence of a supply network originating from Gambia. The traffickers, who used a vehicle with foreign registration plates, regularly supplied their clients based in the area.
After several days of surveillance and unsuccessful attempts, the gendarmerie officers managed to convince the suspects to make a delivery. A well-planned ambush was then set up near the meeting place, leading to the arrest of the alleged traffickers.
A thorough search of the vehicle revealed a blue bag carefully hidden in the trunk, containing seven kilograms of Indian hemp.
The suspects were taken to the Nganda brigade for investigation. The vehicle and drugs were seized and sealed by the defense and security forces.
