Kaolack : Fallou Kébé lance « Saloum Sunu Transport » et offre un premier lot de tricycles

The president of the Saloum Sports and Cultural Association (ASC), Fallou Kébé, has brought to fruition an ambitious project aimed at ensuring the club's financial independence . Called "Saloum Sunu Transport," this project was marked by the handover of an initial batch of tricycles to the ASC Saloum headquarters, in the presence of numerous sports figures.

This gesture aims to achieve two major objectives: to generate sustainable financial resources for the club and to create employment for young people in Kaolack.

Mr. Kébé's initiative is part of a strategy to find additional resources to cover the club's operating expenses. The president also reaffirmed his commitment to breaking free from dependence solely on membership fees and ticket sales.

“The goal is to create additional resources, but we are also aiming to create employment for some young people. There are five tricycles here, but there will be 20 tricycles for 20 young people,” said Fallou Kébé.

He specified that these vehicles would be made available for the transport of luggage and goods for all the people of Kaolack, with the money collected being entirely paid to the benefit of the club, managed by a dedicated team.

Since his election as head of ASC Saloum, Mr. Fallou Kébé has distinguished himself through a series of achievements for the Kaolack team. Testimonies recall that he had already resolved the players' transportation problem by providing them with a comfortable and modern bus, in addition to equipping a decent headquarters to improve the athletes' accommodation.

Responding to his detractors who, according to him, are trying to sabotage his work and tarnish the image of ASC Saloum, the president affirmed his determination to continue his mission.

Present at the ceremony, the Regional Director of Youth and Sports (DRJS), Ibrahima Niass Diao, warmly praised President Fallou Kébé's vision. Mr. Diao emphasized that the creation of this mini-transport network for the youth of ASC Saloum is an innovative initiative that not only strengthens the club's logistics but also generates stable revenue, offering a model of sports management to follow.
