A cattle rustling ring has been partially dismantled by the Research Brigade of the Ndorong police station in Kaolack. On April 10, 2026, around 2 p.m., investigators apprehended two suspects at the end of an investigation.

The case came to light at the home of A. Diallo, 34, a mechanic living in the Parcelles Assainies district. Police discovered several head of cattle there, clearly stolen.

Cornered, A.Diallo admitted the facts and promptly gave the names of his suppliers: O.Ka, 30 years old, unemployed, residing in Kabatoki, and a certain Oussou.

The search led to the swift apprehension of O.Ka. But his accomplice Oussou attempted to force his way through by brandishing a machete against the police, before fleeing, according to Seneweb sources.

He is actively being sought.

At the suspects' residence, investigators seized a substantial haul: three oxen, seven sheep, and two goats, which were impounded at the police station for the purposes of the investigation. A. Diallo and O. Ka were taken into custody. The prosecutor was notified, and an investigation has been opened.

des policiers qui viennent chercher des peuls voleurs et qui n'ont pas les armes pour les neutraliser. Peul et coupe coupe c'est une longue histoire.
