Placed in police custody at the Zac Mbao police station, L. Faye, a mason residing in Keur Mbaye Fall, is being prosecuted for sexual touching of a minor, indecent assault, pedophilia and attempted rape.
The events reportedly took place on Sunday, according to Libération. A 15-year-old student, AN, accuses the accused of "forcibly dragging him into a room around 4 p.m.," where he claims he was sexually assaulted. "He undressed me before performing oral sex on me."
According to the alleged victim, the assailant, in his forties, then tried to go further, "asking him to bend down to penetrate him," which the minor refused before fleeing.
He immediately informed his parents, who went to the scene. Upon seeing them, the suspect tried to escape but was caught thanks to the intervention of local youths.
Faye partially admitted to the facts when questioned by investigators. "He [admitted] taking the minor to his room but tried to deny the facts unconvincingly."
