Kolda : Un exploitant forestier retrouvé mort dans sa chambre
This happened in the Abdou Diouf neighborhood, part of the rural commune of Dioulacolon. After dawn prayers on Tuesday, neighbors noticed Demba Faye's Jakarta motorcycle, parked alone in the yard since the previous evening in the pouring rain. Abdoulaye Seydi, a next-door neighbor, went to the forestry worker's room and asked him to bring the motorcycle inside. There, Abdoulaye Seydi discovered Demba Faye's lifeless body. This grim discovery prompted him to inform the other neighbors.
Alerted by phone, the gendarmerie, followed by the fire brigade, arrived at the scene to confirm the tragic death. Demba Faye died in his room, where he lived alone. The fire brigade transported his body to the morgue at the Kolda Regional Hospital. His funeral is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, in Touba, according to a relative who has lived in Kolda for many years.
