Le verdict est tombé pour "Pimpi" après ses insultes contre le lutteur Franc !
A tile setter by trade, Mor Kanté, also known as "Pimpi," was sentenced on Wednesday by the Dakar Magistrates' Court to six months' suspended imprisonment and a fine of 50,000 CFA francs for public indecency, insults, threats of violence, and assault. During a live TikTok broadcast, "Pimpi" had insulted wrestler Emil François Gomis, known as Franc. Gomis, who had filed a complaint against him, ultimately withdrew his action.
Detained since April 13, 2026, "Pimpi" offered profuse apologies in court. He promised never to make such remarks on social media again. "I apologize. This is the first and last time. I will no longer insult anyone," he declared.
The public prosecutor, who reprimanded him, had requested a two-year suspended sentence and a fine of 100,000 FCFA.
His lawyer, Moussa Baldé, asked the court for leniency, but they ultimately found him guilty.
