At the heart of Maison Diarra lies not just a perfume brand story, but a story of lineage, memory, and transmission. It is the story of a young Senegalese woman, Diarra, who left Dakar for Paris to pursue her studies before embarking on a career in creative entrepreneurship, driven by a deeply rooted family heritage.
The house takes its name and inspiration from Mama Diarra Bousso Porokhane, a respected spiritual figure and symbol of resilience, faith, and dignity in Senegalese history. Diarra embraces this heritage discreetly, using it as a compass rather than an argument. It subtly permeates her creations, conveying values of patience, rigor, and sincerity.
Arriving in Paris for her studies, Diarra discovered a demanding environment marked by cultural diversity and intense creative competition. Far from her homeland, she refined her sensitivity, developed her perspective, and nurtured a reflection on identity, memory, and the relationship to the senses. It was in this context that Maison Diarra was born, conceived as a space for personal expression, but also as a bridge between cultures.
The house's perfumes don't seek a spectacular effect. Rather, they tell stories of life's fragments, memories, and emotions. Today, Maison Diarra operates independently, driven by a generation of African and diasporic entrepreneurs who are reinventing the rules, far removed from standardized models. Between Dakar and Paris, the house continues its journey at its own pace, faithful to a vision where perfume becomes simultaneously memory, identity, and a means of transmission.
This Saturday, December 27th marks the official launch of Maison Diarra at 4:00 PM at NOOM, where Senegalese people will be able to discover the two gems of Maison Diarra: Harmonies D'Agrumes and Bissap Gourmand, or the bridge between tradition and modernity.

Vented de perfume ou vente de bissap
La marque a été lancé au Noom ex-Radisson mais on ne nous dit pas où se trouve les « maisons Diarra » dans la capitale et ni comment faire pour acheter ses produits (internet, FB, Instagram etc).
