Mbour : La BR de Saly démantèle un réseau de trafic de drogue dur dirigé par Beau Gars et sa concubine
The Saly research brigade (BR), under the Mbour gendarmerie company, has dismantled a network specializing in hard drug trafficking. According to Seneweb sources, three suspected traffickers, including a couple, and four users were brought before the prosecutor on Tuesday, January 6, on charges of criminal conspiracy, trafficking, and supplying crack cocaine and cannabis.
The main suspect, I. Ndiaye, alias "Beau Gars", who was released from prison about six months ago, is said to have resumed his illicit activities by associating with his concubine, M. Ly, alias "Mia", who is in her twenties.
The network also included a third accomplice, D. Sow, known as "Sone". Together, they ran a hard drug sales point in the Kadd Ga neighborhood of Mbour.
To operate discreetly, the accused used a dedicated phone number, managed by the woman, through which orders were placed. Deliveries were then made by Beau Gars and Sow to meeting points arranged in advance by them.
Alerted to the existence of this network, the Saly Criminal Investigation Brigade (BR) set up a surveillance and tracking operation in the targeted neighborhood. This led to the arrest of three suspected traffickers as well as four individuals who had come to purchase drugs for their personal use. These individuals are P. Diouf, CH Sy, MB Ndiaye, and B. Thiam.
During the searches, investigators seized approximately 100 grams of crack cocaine and 200 grams of cannabis, according to sources close to the prosecutor's office. Following the investigation, the seven suspects were brought before a judge today.
