Mbour : la police de Diamaguène 2 intercepte un éleveur avec 200 kg de yamba
The Diamaguène 2 police station in Mbour has made a significant impact in its fight against drug trafficking. Following a tip-off, officers from the investigations unit, on night patrol, intercepted a vehicle transporting 200 kg of cannabis.
The driver and one of the two traffickers managed to escape. However, the herder, H. Ba, was apprehended, according to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb. During his interrogation, he confessed to the charges of drug possession and trafficking.
At the conclusion of the investigation, H. Ba was brought before Prosecutor Augustin Yakhar Faye, head of the local prosecutor's office, last Monday on charges of criminal conspiracy and domestic trafficking of cannabis. The two fugitives, already identified, are actively being sought by the Diamaguène 2 police in Mbour. The minibus and the 200 kg of cannabis were seized and impounded.
