Ngaye Mékhé : Un livreur disparaît avec les 17 millions F CFA d'un commerçant
A delivery driver for a Mékhé merchant, who has been missing since last Monday with more than 17 million CFA francs, is said to have taken several steps that suggest a premeditated disappearance. The information was provided by APS.
The day before he was due to deposit 17.175 million CFA francs at the Tivaouane Agricultural Bank branch, the man reportedly returned the motorcycle he was using to its owner and retrieved his passport from a local trader, according to testimonies collected.
And since Monday morning, according to our colleagues at APS, his employer, a livestock and poultry feed seller, has not heard from him. His phone remains switched off, and the bank has confirmed that no payment has been made.
Faced with this situation, the shopkeeper, who had been working with the delivery man for three years, contacted the Mékhé gendarmerie brigade. An investigation is underway to find the man and clarify the circumstances of his disappearance.
