Ourossogui : Un conducteur de Jakarta poignardé à mort, son meurtrier activement recherché
Twenty-four hours after the murder of a motorcycle taxi driver in the Moderne district, the main suspect remains at large. The victim, named Abou, died from stab wounds sustained during a dispute stemming from the sale of a motorcycle. A police manhunt is currently underway.
The incident occurred yesterday, Thursday, July 2, 2026, around 3:00 PM, in the Moderne district of Ourossogui. According to multiple sources, the victim had acquired a motorcycle from a friend. When the money for the transaction was not paid, a violent altercation broke out between the two men.
After gaining the upper hand in the fight, Abou was suddenly stabbed several times in the left side by his opponent, who was armed with a knife.
The young motorcyclist was rushed to Ourossogui hospital by passers-by, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted.
Since the crime was committed, the suspect has fled and remains at large. A judicial investigation was immediately opened by the gendarmerie to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy and find the perpetrator of the fatal blows.
