Pacte social : Excédés par les retards, les travailleurs descendent dans la rue le 8 avril

The delay in implementing the social pact has prompted unions to call for a national march on April 8 in Dakar. The Trade Union Front for the Defense of Labor plans a gathering at 3 p.m. at the Cerf-Volant roundabout, with a route extending to the Jet d'Eau roundabout.

Placed under the theme of the effective application of social commitments, this mobilization aims to denounce the delays in addressing workers' demands.

The objective is to bring together demands for better working conditions, increased pay and respect for commitments made.

The organizers are calling for massive participation and assure that the march will be peaceful, in a context of persistent social tensions.
