Passion charnelle, clé USB explosive et prison : l'incroyable déchéance d'un journaliste et de sa maîtresse
They were passionately in love. Now they languish in prison, each accusing the other of destroying their life. Between intimate voice messages, explosive accusations, family humiliations, and romantic revenge, the story of C. Diouf and AW Ndiaye resembles a love affair gone horribly wrong.
Brought before the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office yesterday, Thursday, the two former lovers were remanded in custody by Prosecutor Saliou Dicko for collecting and disseminating personal data and for defamation. They will be tried next Tuesday before the court for flagrant offenses.
Yet at the beginning, nothing foreshadowed such a fate. According to the elements of the investigation carried out by the Keur Massar Research Brigade, AW Ndiaye, 41 years old, journalist and real estate agent, married and father of 3 children, had fallen under the spell of C. Diouf, divorced seamstress and mother of 4 children.
Between them, the feelings seemed sincere. The man had even granted her a loan of 2 million FCFA to support her activities before their relationship took a romantic turn.
Over the months, the couple experienced an intense passion. Photos, videos, loving voice messages and intimate confidences filled their daily lives.
Evidence of this intimacy is now included in the case file. What symbolized their love now serves as a key piece of evidence in the proceedings. Sexually explicit exchanges were recorded on a USB drive.
The file also reveals that AW Ndiaye wanted to take things further. He wished to marry C. Diouf. He had introduced her to his family. But at her home, the reception was icy. While the father gave his consent, the mother categorically refused the union. She said she didn't trust this man.
This family rejection will fracture their relationship. Arguments become frequent. Resentment festers. Then comes the breakup. A separation that, clearly, neither of them has truly accepted. It is from this moment that the war begins.
AW Ndiaye, who is demanding payment of the 2 million, accuses his ex-partner of sending his wife voice messages claiming he was having sexual relations with his own father's wife, a man weakened by a stroke. This revelation has sown chaos in his family. "My father and my aunt are separated. My wife is threatening to divorce me," he told investigators.
But C. Diouf claims to have been subjected to intense harassment. She told investigators about the threats, humiliations, and fear. According to her account, her ex-partner had promised to "ruin her life" with compromising videos. He called her former partners, alerted her parents, tarnished her reputation among her loved ones, and even contacted her church. "He called me a prostitute," she said.
The part that seems to have broken her the most remains the one involving her 14-year-old daughter. "He forwarded our voicemails to my daughter. She was disoriented and shocked," she said emotionally.
In this story, each person presents themselves as a victim. The former lovers were taken into custody on May 20, 2026. They were then brought before Prosecutor Dicko, who remanded them in custody.
