Première pluie à Fatick : L’hivernage pointe le bout de son nez
The city of Fatick recorded its first rain of the year on the morning of Thursday, June 11, 2026. Much anticipated by the population, this rain marks the gradual beginning of the rainy season in the region.
Although this first rain is not enough to start the sowing, it brings hope for the farmers.
The people therefore wish for regular rainfall in order to obtain good harvests, while praying for a rainy season without material or human damage.
