Richard-Toll : Une humanitaire canadienne défigurée au tesson de bouteille par un ado de 15 ans
CA, a 32-year-old Canadian citizen and member of the humanitarian organization Nebeday, was brutally attacked at her home in Thiabakh, near the border crossing. Her assailant is none other than the son of her landlord. The Richard-Toll police station was immediately notified of the case.
An attack of unprecedented violence
That day, around 10:30 a.m., someone knocked on her bedroom door. She had barely opened it when an individual rushed at her, slashing her with a broken bottle. Rushed to the Gaé medical facility, the victim required several stitches to her head, chin, and lips.
Once she came to, she identified her attacker without any hesitation: it was her landlord's son, according to Seneweb sources.
The suspect was arrested while he was asleep.
Investigators quickly traveled to Thiabakh. The victim's room presented a shocking scene: bloodstains on the floor and overturned objects everywhere. Nearby, the suspect, PS, a 15-year-old student in the 8th grade, was found peacefully asleep in his room.
His body, however, bore several scratches. When confronted with the facts, the teenager categorically denied it, attributing his injuries to his one-year-old nephew, according to Seneweb sources. This version of events was met with considerable skepticism by investigators at the Richard-Toll police station.
The minor will be held accountable for his actions in court.
At the conclusion of the investigation, PS was brought before Prosecutor Baye Thiam, head of the Saint-Louis prosecutor's office, for physical assault and intentional blows and injuries.
