Saraya/Moussala : un ressortissant burkinabé interpellé avec de la drogue et du tramadol
According to security sources, the man, identified by the initials S. O, aged 29 and working as a gold prospector, was arrested while transporting:
Originally from Gambagamba, the suspect admitted during interrogation that he was the owner of the seized goods. He also confessed that his cargo was intended to supply traditional gold mining sites, where drug use is often reported.
After being taken into custody, the individual was brought before the Saraya public prosecutor's office on Monday to answer for his actions.
This arrest once again illustrates the efforts of the security forces in the fight against the trafficking of drugs and unauthorized medicines in the Kédougou region, particularly in the gold mining areas where these substances circulate abundantly.
