Skunk et Tramadol : un présumé trafiquant interpellé à Tenkoto (Kédougou)
The Kédougou Research Brigade (BRS/KDG) carried out a major operation as part of the fight against psychotropic substance trafficking. In the early hours of Thursday morning, around 3:00 AM, officers from the brigade arrested an individual suspected of belonging to a drug trafficking network in Tenkoto.

This arrest follows operational intelligence indicating the existence of a drug trafficking network in the area. The suspect, identified by the initials SD, is a 23-year-old mechanic residing in Tenkoto. He was apprehended at his home after discreet investigations conducted by detectives.
According to sources contacted by Seneweb, the investigation revealed that the suspect was involved in selling Tramadol tablets and Skunk, a variety of cannabis. To confirm these facts, security forces made a purchase during the day, acquiring five (5) Tramadol tablets and a bag of Skunk.
The decisive intervention subsequently took place at the suspect's home, where a significant quantity of prohibited substances was discovered. Officers seized 26 cartons, each containing 100 Tramadol tablets, for a total of 2,600 tablets, in addition to 40 more tablets concealed in a tube. In total, 2,640 Tramadol tablets were recovered. Furthermore, 500 grams of Skunk cannabis were also seized.
The suspected trafficker was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of psychotropic substances and Skunk, illegal sale of medicines and illegal practice of the profession of pharmacist.
An investigation is underway to determine the extent of the network and to identify any possible accomplices in this case, which is part of the strengthened fight against drug-related crime in the Kédougou region.
