TAMBACOUNDA : Les 21 présumés homosexuels dont des femmes déférés ce lundi devant le procureur
It was aboard a white minibus and under heavy escort from members of the research section and the territorial brigade of Tambacounda that the 21 people, including 15 presumed homosexuals and six lesbians, were brought before Prosecutor Aliou Dia this Monday morning.
All arrested by the SR of Tambacounda in different districts of the eastern capital, these 21 individuals all reportedly confessed to engaging in unnatural acts, including a famous prostitute arrested several times and a young woman working at UCG.
It was by exploiting information relating to a network of young girls, including a prostitute and her companion engaging in sexual activities, that the police developed a plan which led to their arrest in an inn in the Liberté district.
Continuing their investigations, the police also apprehended the other members of the network.
On the prosecutor's instructions, they all underwent HIV tests at the hospital. The results came back positive for two of the 21 people arrested.
