Thiès : Khouraichi Abdoulaye Thiam appelle à une souveraineté concrète et à l’unité nationale
Present at the parade marking the celebration of Senegal's Independence Day in Thiès, Khouraichi Abdoulaye Thiam, Administrator of the Support Fund for Investment by Senegalese Abroad (FAISE), delivered a committed reading of this event.
According to him, this 66th anniversary of independence represents a victory for the Senegalese people. He emphasized the need to give real substance to national sovereignty, stressing that it must be translated concretely into action in all areas, particularly through concrete actions.
"Senegal now has the opportunity to unite around a single vision: the development of the country," he said, calling for action to be prioritized over words.
Khouraichi Abdoulaye Thiam also praised the leadership of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, highlighting his efforts to strengthen the relationship between the army and the nation. He also expressed his appreciation for the President's speech, particularly regarding the importance placed on discipline.
Looking ahead to the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, he stressed the crucial role of youth, calling for rigorous discipline to ensure the success of this major international event.
