Touba : le Dahira Hizbut-Tarqiyyah remet un « hadiya » d’un milliard de francs CFA à Serigne Mountakha
On the occasion of their Grand Ziaara marking 50 years of service dedicated to Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba, the Dahira Hizbut-Tarqiyyah presented a hadiya of one billion CFA francs to the general Khalif of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, intended for the works of the Great Mosque of Touba, Seneweb has learned.
Under the leadership of its spiritual guide, Serigne Youssou Diop, the Dahira Hizbut-Tarqiyyah chose to mark this golden jubilee with a powerful and symbolic gesture towards the Caliph General of the Mourides. The presentation of a gift of one billion CFA francs to Serigne Mountakha Mbacké testifies to the unwavering commitment of this dahira to serving the Mouride community and its devotion to the teachings of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba.
The funds thus donated will be entirely dedicated to the construction and beautification of the Great Mosque of Touba, the spiritual jewel of the Mouride brotherhood. This generous gesture comes after five decades of devotion, faith, and service by the Dahira Hizbut-Tarqiyyah, true to its motto: "A faithful commitment, an eternal reward."
