Trafic de haschisch : Un juriste et un businessman arrêtés par la BRS de Dakar
The Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade of the OCRTIS dismantled a drug delivery network operating in the Sicap and Point E districts, following the exploitation of operational intelligence.
On April 7, 2026 at 2:10 PM, a surveillance and tracking device was put in place around the home of SPG, 29 years old, businessman, residing in Sicap Baobab.
After a few minutes of observation, he left his home on a Beverly motorcycle and headed towards Point E. Under surveillance, he went to the home of his client MMJD, 27 years old, a lawyer, residing in Point E. The two individuals were arrested on the spot in the middle of a transaction.
An immediate search of SPG revealed two balls of hashish, an iPhone, and 20,000 FCFA. Beverly's motorcycle was also seized. On MMJD, investigators found only an iPhone.
During his interrogation, SPG admitted to delivering two balls of hashish worth 15,000 FCFA, following an order. MMJD, for his part, attempted to deny the allegations, claiming he had contacted SPG simply as a deliveryman, according to Seneweb sources.
The searches conducted at the homes of the two suspects led to an expanded list of seizures. At MMJD's residence, investigators discovered a USB drive and a bag containing a laptop in his bedroom. At SPG's residence, a search yielded an additional 23 grams of hashish, electronic scales, and various documents. In total, 33 grams of hashish were seized.
SPG and MMJD were taken into custody for conspiracy, drug trafficking, possession and use of drugs.
