TRANSPORT AÉRIEN : Le Sénégal se dote d'un nouvel avion L410-NG
As part of its fleet modernization efforts, Air Senegal acquired its fourth L410-NG aircraft on Tuesday, October 21, in the Czech Republic. This new aircraft strengthens domestic connectivity.
According to the Ministry of Land and Air Transport, this fourth aircraft is part of an order for five L410-NGs intended to strengthen the domestic network. "It will improve service to remote regions and facilitate mobility across the national territory and beyond. This acquisition is part of the Senegal Vision 2050, which aims to make air transport more accessible and support the economic development of the territories," said Minister Yankoba Diémé.
He then praised the quality of the cooperation with Aircraft Industries, while emphasizing the importance of skills transfer. "Thirty-five Senegalese agents, including 15 technicians and 20 pilots from Air Senegal, the Air Force, ANACIM, and 2AS Technics, will benefit from a 45-day training program on this type of aircraft," he announced.
