Un million FCFA, Jakartaman : Les secrets de l'arrestation du fils de Madiambal Diagne
Presenting himself as a company director, Mohamed Diagne was arrested this Thursday, September 25, 2025, while attempting to leave Senegalese territory by motorcycle. Madiambal Diagne's son had the misfortune of being intercepted around 4 a.m. by police from the Karang special police station. He was in possession of a sum of money worth more than one million CFA francs and a bag containing clothes.
During the identity check, the sleuths discovered that the 33-year-old man was subject to an exit ban. According to Seneweb sources, upon arriving in Passy, Mohamed Diagne paid 50,000 CFA francs to a Jakarta motorcycle driver to cross the Gambian border. However, he did not arrive at his destination thanks to the vigilance of agents from the Air and Border Police Directorate (DPAF).
He is being transferred to Dakar by police officers from the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC). Mohamed is reportedly the subject of a judicial investigation opened against his father, Madiambal Diagne, in a case of money laundering and criminal conspiracy, linked to suspicious transactions estimated at 21 billion CFA francs.
