«Voix de Daesh», nom de guerre, groupe crypté : tout savoir sur «Abou Oussama al Sénégalais»
Charged and remanded in custody by the senior investigating judge, following a "judicial inquiry requested by the prosecutor's office," Ismaïla Diallo spent his first night in prison. Transferred to Dakar under heavy escort, he faces extremely serious charges, including "criminal conspiracy linked to a terrorist organization," participation in an armed group, and "apology for terrorism," according to Libération.
The newspaper specifies that the case of the suspect, initially arrested by the Saint-Louis Research Brigade (BR) for common law offenses such as "spreading false news" or "insulting the ministry of several religions," took a turn after "the examination of his two cell phones." Investigators discovered that, under the pseudonym "Abou Oussama al Sénégalaisa," he was a member of a WhatsApp group whose members "used aliases."
The DIC's investigations have uncovered troubling facts, notably links to Assane Diène, a Senegalese man who "went to Libya and Nigeria around 2014-2015" before being killed in combat. Even more serious, the newspaper reveals that investigators have traced "sustained exchanges" between Ismaïla Diallo and French national Fabien Clain. The latter, nicknamed the "voice of ISIS," was the one who "claimed responsibility, from Syria, for the deadly attacks that struck Paris in 2015," the same source adds.
