Ziguinchor: Handover of duties at the Regional Health Directorate

A new chapter has officially begun at the Regional Health Directorate (DRS) of Ziguinchor, during the handover ceremony between the outgoing director, Colonel Youssouf Tine, recently promoted to Director General of Health, and his successor, Colonel Biram Simon Ndiaye.

The ceremony, filled with emotion and gratitude, was punctuated by a series of testimonials praising Colonel Tine's leadership, dedication, and numerous achievements. Technical and financial partners, veterans' representatives, administrative authorities, and DRS staff unanimously paid tribute to a leader described as a man of dialogue and public service, whose work contributed to the lasting strengthening of the healthcare system in southern Senegal.

On behalf of the technical and financial partners, Cheikh Oumar Guèye described the appointment as "a well-deserved promotion," highlighting the quality of the partnership developed during his tenure. The veterans praised his professionalism and strong sense of duty, while reaffirming their support for the new director.
