Ziguinchor : Un guérisseur arrêté avec de faux billets et de la drogue

S. Sow, known as a healer in the Goumel district, was apprehended by the elements stationed at the second bridge of Ziguinchor, called the Tobor bridge.

At the time of his arrest, the man had in his possession 30 counterfeit Moroccan dinar banknotes, the value of which is estimated at around 367,000 FCFA, according to well-informed sources.

In addition to the counterfeit bills, Mr. Sow was in possession of Indian hemp at the time of his arrest. He reportedly told officers that he was transporting the drug, cannabis, for his own personal use while travelling to Bignona.

Regarding the money, the accused told security personnel that it came from one of his Ivorian friends.

Mr. Sow faces prosecution for possession of drugs and counterfeit money.
