On May 22, 2026, the EduPolSen project team reached a pivotal stage in its national tour by meeting with students from the Notre-Dame des Victoires elementary school and residents of the Daara Moderne IQRA of Imam Tandian.

The ceremony was presided over by Chief Commissioner of Police El Hadji Aly Guèye, head of the Mbacké urban police station, in the presence of Police Commissioner Mamadou Diouf, head of the Communication and Public Relations Division, the representative of the IEF, the neighborhood chief and the priest.

The day began with the raising of the national flag, reaffirming everyone's attachment to the symbols of the Republic. The school principal, Mr. Joseph Sabelle Ngom, along with representatives of the parents' association (APE) and local authorities, praised the project. For them, EduPolSen is a major tool for civic engagement, fostering vocations, combating juvenile delinquency, and strengthening trust in law enforcement.

Chief Commissioner El Hadji Aly Guèye emphasized that the National Police is a key partner of schools. Its role extends far beyond maintaining order: it supports and educates the citizens of tomorrow to address current challenges such as road safety, cybercrime, and drug abuse.

The team was then warmly welcomed at the Daara Moderne IQRA of Imam Tandian, to the rhythm of recitations from the Holy Quran. There, too, a proud raising of the flag lit up the children's faces. Interactive workshops were led by police teams around four key themes: understanding the police force and its missions, combating cybercrime, drug prevention, and road safety.

This intense day of civic engagement concluded with a symbolic family photo, immortalizing the joy of the students, teachers and the delegation from the National Police.
