Télécoms : L’opérateur Orange Mali annonce la fin de la validité limitée des crédits et bonus d’appel
In Mali, mobile phone operator Orange has announced it has taken steps to remove the time limit on call bonuses and communication credits. This decision comes as the Directorate General for Trade, Consumer Affairs and Competition (DGCC) is currently investigating the loss of credits and call bonuses upon their expiration.
Other operators are invited to do the same
These investigations follow a complaint from the Consumers Association of Mali (Ascoma) concerning the loss of credits and call bonuses.
The DGCC wants to examine the facts mentioned in the complaint and "take appropriate measures".
Following the decision by Orange Mali SA, the DGCC invited other operators to "follow this same approach, in the interest of consumers".
