CAN 2025 : Ben Seghir prêt pour la finale face au Sénégal
A few hours before the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Ben Seghir, the Moroccan striker for Bayer Leverkusen, spoke at the pre-final press conference alongside Walid Regragui.
The young player highlighted the work done with the coach over the past two years and the team's mindset before facing the Lions of Senegal.
“After two years of preparation with the coach, we are ready to make history. Seeing the emotion of players like Hakimi motivates us even more to give our best,” said Ben Seghir.
For him, this AFCON is also a rich learning experience. "Participating in this tournament is an incredible opportunity. The pressure is enormous, but the joy of the Moroccan people pushes us to surpass ourselves. It's a lesson I want to pass on to future generations," he added.
