IFAGE célèbre ses diplômés des promotions "Feu Pathé Dione" et les encourage à perpétuer une vision d'excellence
The Inter-African Institute for Insurance and Business Management Training (IFAGE) honored its graduates from the classes of 2023 to 2025 at a graduation ceremony on Friday, January 16, 2026, at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar. Held under the symbolic patronage of the late Pathé Dione, founder of the SUNU Group, this fourth edition of "Graduation Day" brought together more than 300 graduates with professional Bachelor's and Master's degrees from various nationalities.
The event was attended by prominent figures including Mr. Mandaw Kandji, Chairman of the Board and founder of IFAGE; Ms. Adjaratou Khady Ndao Sy, Managing Director of SUNU Assurances IARD Senegal; Mr. Benoît Tine, Director of Private Higher Education, representing Minister Daouda Ngom; as well as representatives from the Ministries of Finance and Budget, and Microfinance and Social and Solidarity Economy.
In his address, Mr. Mandaw Kandji commended the graduates' academic achievements and paid a heartfelt tribute to the memory of Pathé Dione, described as "an exceptional figure whose courage, vision, and commitment have indelibly marked the history of the African financial sector." He urged the new graduates to embody the values championed by the late founder: ethics, rigor, solidarity, open-mindedness, and respect for commitments.
The ceremony was held under the theme: "Contribution of the financial sector to climate resilience and sustainable development in Africa". Mr. Kandji emphasized the crucial role of this sector as a lever for resilience and economic inclusion, particularly through inclusive finance and insurance mechanisms.
Founded in 2008, IFAGE presents itself as a pioneer in insurance and actuarial training in Francophone Africa, with 18 years of experience.
