Affaire Amadou Sall : Bonne nouvelle pour Ndèye Seynabou Ndiaye
Lawyers Souleymane Ndéné Ndiaye, Seydou Diagne, and Souleymane Soumaré, representing Ndéye Seynabou Ndiaye, manager of Woodrose Sarl, won their case before the Supreme Court of Senegal. On November 6, 2025, the highest court overturned the ruling denying her provisional release and referred the case back to the Financial Judicial Unit for referral to the Constitutional Council. Ndèye Seynabou Ndiaye remains in detention.
The woman's lawyers had filed a request for provisional release, which was rejected by the presiding judge of the panel of investigating judges. Attorney Souleymane Soumaré appealed, raising the issue of the unconstitutionality of the money laundering law. The judge having refused to refer the case to the Constitutional Council, the defense appealed to the Court of Cassation.
Ndèye Seynabou Ndiaye is being prosecuted for fraud involving public funds and criminal conspiracy.
