Saut d’obstacles : les cavaliers en compétition au Racing Club de Dakar

The official show jumping competition organized by the Racing Club of Dakar took place on March 7th and 8th at the Petit Mbao Forest Park. The competition brought together several clubs affiliated with the Senegalese Equestrian Sports Federation for national events held at various heights.

National 4 (95 cm) Class 1 had 27 entries and 27 starters. Seven pairs finished in the final standings. First place went to Salif Keita with the horse Fimela. He completed the course with zero penalty points and a time of 46.50 seconds. Melissa Tuna finished second with Karlista du Rezidal in 48.10 seconds. Abdou Gueye Sarr took third place with Izotop de Ruelle in 49.25 seconds.

Fourth place went to Abdou Karim Gaye with Flow Star, with a time of 51.24 seconds. Mouhamed Khouma finished fifth with Villeroy VH Hartevel in 52.04 seconds. Abdoulaye Gueye came in sixth with Mister Brio in 53.50 seconds. Alassane Thiam Gend rounded out the top three with Palmarin Fimbo in 55.00 seconds.

The second event included in the rankings was the National 2 competition, held over a height of 115 cm. The competition had 23 entries and 23 starters. Six pairs qualified for the final standings. Arnaud Rosière emerged victorious with Crazy Horse Boop, completing the course without penalty in 56.31 seconds. Amadou Dicko Gend took second place with Power in 57.45 seconds. Rémi Tuna finished third with Barentin de Rampan in 58.30 seconds.

Baye Mor Fall finished fourth with Comme d'habitude Jem. The clock read 58.45 seconds. Abdou Gueye Sarr finished fifth with Alato de la Cense in 59.59 seconds. Arnaud Rosière also finished in sixth place with Elite Longane in 60.38 seconds.

The results are based on courses completed without penalties and the times recorded at each stage. Rankings only apply to riders who complete their courses in accordance with the competition rules.

The competition brings together several clubs affiliated with the Senegalese Equestrian Sports Federation. The events take place over two days and include club and national categories. The courses are held on the track in the Petit Mbao Forest Park in Dakar.

    1° le redacteur n'est pas Toumbou: un seul joiurnaliste dans ce bled suit l'equitation de maniere passionée dans notre bled..........//...........comment avoir un chaval ? Si tu as ta carte pastouffe, tu enkule une jument (pas une guenon) et tu attends 11 mois.......La durée de la gestation chez la jument est d'environ 11 mois.
