Sonatel inaugure son 5e Orange Digital Club à l'Université de Touba
Sonatel, in partnership with the Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim Complex, has officially launched the Orange Digital Club (ODC) in Touba, an innovative space dedicated to training, entrepreneurship and supporting young talent in digital professions.
The fifth ODC Club of Senegal
Ms. Awa Niang, Director of Institutional Communication and External Relations at Sonatel, represented the Director General at this inauguration ceremony. "I am here today in Touba on behalf of the Director General to attend the inauguration of the Orange Digital Center Club in Touba, the fifth, after those in Bambey, Saint-Louis, Ziguinchor and Amadou Makhtar Mbow University," she said.
The official clarified Sonatel's ambition: "Our goal is to open an Orange Digital Center Club in all 14 regions of Senegal."
Ms. Niang made a passionate appeal to young people: "Like other Orange Digital Centers, we invite all students to come and truly benefit from this place of innovation that we have set up."
Strategic equipment for UCAK
For his part, Professor Lamine Guèye, Rector of Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim University (UCAK) of Touba, welcomed this achievement: "We have launched and inaugurated the ODC Club of the Cheikh Ahmadou Khadim Complex in Touba as part of a partnership with Sonatel. For a year, we have been preparing this important facility which is made available to students."
The rector emphasized the strategic importance of this infrastructure: "This is crucial because the goal of the ODC Club is to enhance the digital skills of our students at the complex."
