The Wax Jef party has offered a clear-eyed assessment of the national situation, which it considers marked by a worrying political and social confusion. Faced with this situation, the party calls for a collective awakening, aiming to transform individuals into social beings in order to restore responsibility, national unity, and social cohesion—values it presents as foundational to Senegal.

Wax Jef positions itself as an ethical and sovereign alternative, stating that "sovereignty is not decreed: it is built".

For Wax Jef, the first pillar of sovereignty is education, still influenced by the colonial legacy. The party advocates for a profound overhaul of the education system, anchored in national values, local skills, and the real needs of the economy.

The party insists on the importance of rethinking the relationship between modern schools and daaras to avoid the "identity contradiction inherited from the Western model." Citing the adage that "it is through being that one can access having" (KIZERBO), Wax Jef highlights vocational training as the central driver of self-employment and economic sovereignty, offering young people concrete jobs and opportunities to create value.

The digitalization of education is also presented as an imperative to train citizens capable of mastering the tools of the contemporary world while remaining rooted in their culture.

In terms of health, Wax Jef insists on strengthening the health system, managing chronic diseases, training staff and the national fight against diabetes and cancer, which have become major public health issues.

The party proposes concrete actions:

 

Recruiting health volunteers for awareness and prevention.

 

The construction of specialized centers in all regions to manage chronic diseases.

 

Strengthening pharmaceutical sovereignty through the regulation of research and outreach activities by traditional healers.

Wax Jef establishes a direct link between security and the economy. The party emphasizes that terrorism, organized crime, border insecurity, cybersecurity, and urban crime hinder investment, disrupt value chains, and threaten economic stability.

Finally, Wax Jef calls for the restoration of dignity and decorum in public speech, drawing inspiration from the example of Moses facing Pharaoh: a just, clear, firm and respectful speech.

Wax Jef's vision is simple and can be broken down into six points for national renewal:

An educated Senegal;

A safe Senegal;

A Senegal that is master of its own word;

 

A Senegal that is sovereign in its choices.
