Polémique au concert Mia Guisse : Mame Mactar Guèye brise le silence sur la tenue d'Ouly !
Mia Guissé's concert, held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, sparked a social media storm. The outfit worn by the young singer Ouly, a guest on stage, created a heated controversy. Internet users questioned Mame Mactar Guèye, vice-president of the NGO JAMRA, interpreting the t-shirt as being in LGBT colors. Faced with this controversy, Mame Mactar Guèye spoke out to put an end to the speculation.
In an online post, he indicated that he had received complaints from several internet users regarding the image, which was considered ambiguous. The organization therefore decided to conduct a thorough analysis of the t-shirt in question, entrusting it to a graphic designer. "As you requested, the t-shirt, supposedly in LGBT colors, worn by this singer at the Mia Guissé concert, has been scrutinized by JAMRA's graphic designer," he stated.
Mame Mactar Guèye concluded that, according to the analysis, the singer was not wearing an LGBT t-shirt but a t-shirt in the colors of the Senegalese flag. "The t-shirt worn by this singer is made up of the three (3) colors of the Senegalese flag: green, yellow, and red. Whereas an LGBT t-shirt consists of six (6) colors: red, salmon, yellow, green, blue, and purple."
He clarifies that she is not wearing a Senegalese flag as such, but a t-shirt made up of the colors of the Senegalese flag. "The distinction is important," he emphasizes.
And that "this is in no way an LGBT t-shirt, condemned by the new anti-Gordji-gen law which bans all forms of apology in favour of "woubis!"", declares the defender of moral and religious values.
