12ème Gaïndé : «Pas d'Assemblée générale depuis 17 ans»
The Lions' main supporters' committee, the 12th Gaïndé, is experiencing an internal crisis marked by the postponement, for the second time, of its elective General Assembly (GA). Interviewed by the sports daily Record, Moulaye Tine, secretary general of the Senegal Club Supporters' Collective, strongly denounced the management of the outgoing president, Issa Laye Diop.
The specialist newspaper's contact accused Issa Laye Diop of wanting to make the AGM a "personal matter" and of acting without consulting the Steering Committee. He considers it unacceptable that the outgoing president, a candidate for his own succession, is also in charge of selling membership cards. He points out that Issa Laye Diop has led the 12th Gaïndé for 17 years without ever having organized a AGM and demands that the next election be held transparently, legally, and under independent supervision.
Call for state intervention
Faced with this situation, Moulaye Tine calls on the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) and the Ministry of Sports to take responsibility for "structuring" the 12th Gaïndé and restoring unity before major sporting events, such as the CAN and the World Cup. He deplores the fact that the committee is currently fragmented into four to five different supporter groups, a fragmentation he considers "abnormal" and detrimental to the organization.
Finally, Tine praises the approach of the rival group, the 12th Gaïndé "Mains Propres" led by Paco, which stood out for reasons of transparency and demonstrated its financial autonomy by traveling to the last CAN with its own resources. He concludes that the 12th Gaïndé must now assume more of its responsibilities and no longer "expect everything from the State of Senegal."

Il est légitime de s’interroger sur l’utilité de ces "supporters professionnels " financés par l’argent public. Leur apport réel à l’ambiance des matchs ou au soutien de l’équipe nationale reste plus que discutable.
Entre corps dévêtus grossièrement peints, mises en scène sans esthétique, et personnages déguisés en vitrines mystiques (comme ce "supporter" entièrement recouvert de talismans, du cou au nombril, aperçu lors du match contre la Mauritanie), le spectacle frôle souvent le ridicule.
Est-ce vraiment l’image que nous voulons projeter de notre pays sur la scène internationale ?
Quant aux chants qu’ils entonnent, ils peinent même à séduire l’oreille, tant sur le plan musical que rythmique.
On est en droit d’attendre mieux d’une représentation officielle, d’autant plus lorsqu’elle est financée par les contribuables.
Rien du tout. Juste des chômeurs invetres adeptes du tok mouy dox. Ils ne vivent que de rackette des joueurs et dirigeants. Tous les 18 millions de sénégalais sont des 12e gaindes. Basta. Allez travailler.

un mondial en ligne de mire, aux usa et au canada, des possibilités de voyage et plus si affinité, les tensions naissent.
il faut que les autorités prennent les devant tres vite, y a assez de sénégalais en Amérique pour aller supporter les lions.
pas un seul supporter au frais du contribuable, que ceux qui veulent y aller, y aillent avec leurs propres moyens.
