The Senegalese Ligue 1 played its 12th round of matches this weekend, highlighted by Casa Sports' resounding 3-0 victory over Sonacos. This convincing win puts the Ziguinchor-based club, now second with 21 points, in a position that puts pressure on league leaders US Gorée (23 points), who were held to a 0-0 draw by US Ouakam.
At the top of the table, AJEL of Rufisque also achieved an excellent result, securing a 1-0 victory away to Guédiawaye FC. This win allows the Rufisque club to consolidate its 3rd place position with 21 points.
In the day's big match, AS Pikine defeated Jaraaf 1-0. This prestigious victory propels Pikine to 4th place with 19 points, while Jaraaf now sits in 7th place (17 points).
