Actes xénophobes en Afrique du Sud : La riposte politique de la présidente tanzanienne face aux violences
Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has ordered the departure of South African nationals present on national territory and the immediate suspension of all air and commercial links with South Africa.
This decision comes amid a new wave of xenophobic violence targeting African migrants in South Africa.
In a firm statement, the head of state strongly criticized the South African authorities, accusing them of having "forgotten the support received during the struggle for independence," while denouncing the fact that "Africans are being humiliated in a country that benefited from the commitment of those who fought against apartheid."
