On April 12, 2026 at 11 p.m., the Kédougou Regional Narcotics Brigade dismantled a drug trafficking network in the village of Douta, following the exploitation of operational intelligence.

The suspect arrested is MC, 30 years old, a baker, of Guinean nationality, married and father of two, residing in Douta. The investigation revealed that he was selling cannabis and tramadol from his home, where he received his clients.

After a reconnaissance of the premises followed by a confirmation purchase, investigators proceeded to arrest him. A search yielded two and a half blocks of cannabis, nine packets, totaling two kilograms, as well as seventeen tramadol tablets, according to Seneweb sources.

MC was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of cannabis, illegal sale of medicines, illegal practice of the profession of pharmacist and money laundering.

@Mouni Pourquoi généraliser "le Sénégalais" "? Vous faites exactement ce que vous reprochez au journaliste. Dans un monde normal, parler du profil des personnes qui commettent des délits ou des crimes lorsqu'elles sont originaires d'un autre pays ne constitue pas de la xénophobie, ou n'attise une xénophobie que chez ceux/celles qui sont déjà xénophobes. Il ne faut pas non plus sous-estimer les capacités de discernement des lecteurs.
