Transvasement frauduleux de gaz à Liberté 5: Le DG de la SADG porte plainte contre 4 employés arrêtés par la BR
Oumar Diallo, CEO of the African Gas Distribution Company (SADG), has filed a complaint for breach of trust against four of his employees: Tapha Niang, Omar Diop, Cheikh Diouf, and Ousmane Ndao. They are currently in police custody at the Faidherbe gendarmerie brigade.
The accused ran a clandestine domestic gas transfer network, which was dismantled on December 25, 2025 in Liberté 5. The operation carried out by the Research Brigade (BR) led to the arrest of six people for illegal business practices.
During this operation, the police seized 272 gas cylinders of Total and Oryx brands, as well as vehicles used for transporting the cylinders.
The managing director of SADG, whose warehouse is located in Grand-Yoff, was questioned as part of the investigation but was not charged. However, the business owner quickly filed a complaint against his four employees through his lawyer, Takha Cissé.
In his complaint, Oumar Diallo denounces the actions of his employees, claiming they failed to properly fulfill their mandate, which was to deliver gas cylinders in accordance with the terms of their employment contract. He asserts that his employees were caught red-handed refilling empty cylinders belonging to another vendor, a situation that led to the seizure of several cylinders.
According to the complainant, these facts constitute a poor execution of the mandate entrusted and fall under the provisions of Article 383 of the Penal Code, relating to breach of trust.
