The Jëf Jël Alliance has announced the holding of its national congress on September 27 and 28, 2025, in Thiès. "A major event that marks a decisive step in the life of the party and is part of the desire to build, with authentic republicans, a solid and credible political alternative for Senegal," notes the leader of the said party, Talla Sylla.

After a period of strategic reflection and internal consultation, the party, under the leadership of its leader, Talla Sylla, has chosen to reconnect with the fundamentals that have made it strong. This congress will be held under the theme: "Jëf Jël: From Resistance to the Key to the Future."

The two-day program focuses on reviving and expanding the party, with the following objectives: "reorganizing the basic structures for a stronger presence throughout the national territory"; "enhancing the party by attracting a new generation of committed activists and young leaders"; "reassuring the Senegalese by proposing a clear vision and a concrete program to address the country's current challenges."

During this congress, thematic workshops will be organized to develop a detailed roadmap on crucial topics such as governance, the solidarity economy, and the empowerment of youth and women. "The resulting resolutions will form the basis of our commitment for the future," emphasizes the former mayor of Thiès.
