Après sa visite à Rebeuss : Papa Djibril Fall dénonce la "séquestration" de Badara Gadiaga et d'Abdou Nguer
Papa Djibril Fall, MP and leader of the Les Serviteurs movement, visited his "brother" Badara Gadiaga at Rebeuss prison. This visit, which took place in a tense political context, was an opportunity for the parliamentarian to meet other prisoners whom he describes as "political."
On this occasion, Papa Djibril Fall spoke with several detainees about their conditions of detention, he said. According to him, they are going through this ordeal "with great dignity and honor."
The MP wanted to reaffirm his unwavering support and his determination to continue what he presents as "a fight for freedoms and the rule of law."
Serious accusations against the power in place
In a particularly virulent statement, Papa Djibril Fall pointed to the regime he calls "Sonko-Diomaye".
According to him, the cases of Badara Gadiaga and Abdou Nguer perfectly illustrate "the clear desire of Ousmane Sonko and his clan to stifle all discordant voices daring to expose their notorious incompetence."
The Servants' MP accuses the government of being unable to provide solutions to the "countless challenges and difficulties of the Senegalese people," suggesting that the imprisonment of these figures is aimed at silencing the opposition.
A call for popular mobilization
Papa Djibril Fall has also made himself the spokesperson for what he presents as a popular demand. He states that "the Senegalese, who love peace and justice, once again demand the unconditional release of all political hostages."
