Assemblée générale FSHB : Seydou Diouf reconduit à la présidence

The Senegalese Handball Federation (FSHB) re-elected Seydou Diouf as head of the steering committee on Saturday, during its elective general assembly held at the Babacar Touré Press House.

This meeting also allowed for the adoption of new texts aimed at modernizing the governance of the discipline and strengthening training.

According to Secretary General Marodi Diagne, the electoral body is now composed of affiliated clubs, and no longer of regional leagues or resource persons. He also specified that only licensed individuals are now eligible to run for office.

The new steering committee increases from 33 to 35 members, with better representation from the regions, notably Kolda and Ziguinchor.

The federation now wants to focus on training coaches, managers and supervisors, while further developing beach handball, a rapidly growing sport in Senegal.
