Awalé célèbre ses 4 ans : Engagement, vision et action au service du Sénégal
The Awalé party, led by Dr. Abdourahmane Diouf, celebrated its four years of existence this Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the CICES, marked by constant commitment, a clear vision and sustained action in the Senegalese political arena.
The ceremony, held in a packed hall, brought together activists, supporters, and allies from all 14 regions of Senegal and the diaspora to demonstrate their loyalty to their leader. The atmosphere was electric, filled with songs, slogans, and tributes.
Four years of political career
Launched on October 30, 2021, Awalé quickly established itself in the national political debate. In early 2022, it made a notable entry into the Senegalese political scene, before experiencing a surge in influence between 2023 and 2024. In April 2024, the party officially announced its support for the DiomayePrésident coalition led by the current Head of State, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye.
Today, four years after its creation, Awalé claims a presence in all regions of the country and is part of the Senegal 2050 vision advocating sovereignty, peace and national harmony.
Testimonials that live up to the journey
Among the distinguished guests, Aminata Touré, High Representative of the President of the Republic, praised the leadership and steadfastness of Dr. Abdourahmane Diouf. Addressing recent debates surrounding forgiveness and so-called "victor's justice," she called on political leaders to embrace unity and calm tensions. "We must banish the demons of division to support President Diomaye Faye in achieving his Senegal 2050 vision," she declared.
The testimonies also highlighted the values, rigor, and integrity of the Minister of the Environment and Ecology, described as a man of conviction, knowledge, and integrity. "A responsible and patriotic leader, free in his thinking, who works for peace and development in Senegal," several speakers summarized.
Response to criticism and call for unity
Responding to attacks from certain members of Pastef, notably the Director General of the Autonomous Port of Dakar, Wally Diouf Bodian, who shot at him during the party's fourth anniversary celebration, Dr. Abdourahmane Diouf opted for a more conciliatory approach. "Awalé is a party of peace, harmony, and generosity. We believe in dialogue and national cohesion."
While acknowledging Pastef's major role in Diomaye Faye's rise to power, he emphasized that the Diomaye-President coalition remains a pluralistic entity, strengthened by its diversity. "No one should underestimate the influence of the other components of the coalition. The Diomaye-President coalition contributed to this historic victory."
A unifying call for the future
The minister took advantage of this celebration to renew his call for consensus, forgiveness, and collaboration among all political actors. "Senegal is a great nation. Together, let us work towards its stability and prosperity," he urged.
Finally, Dr. Diouf paid a vibrant tribute to the Senegalese press, praising its professionalism and its essential role in consolidating democracy.

Abdourahmane Diouf ou la Publicité politique contre Pastef. Il fait partie de façon incompréhensible de séparer le Duo Diomaye-Sonko. En plus d'être ingrat que Sonko l'ai invité à rejoindre son gouvernement. Apparemment aussi, il aspirait à occuper des Ministères de souveraineté ou de Prestige. La venue de son ancien camarade du Rewmi Dethié, tout nouveau Hyper Ministre Balèze n'a pas arrangé les choses en jalousie souterraine.
Mimi ose parader parce que le ridicule ne tue pas ! cette dame a tout dit sur Sonko jusqu'en 2022. Elle a tourné le dos à Macky simplement pour n'avoir pas obtenu la station de Présidente de l'Assemblée nationale. Elle meut toujours ruminer sa déception mais ça ne changera rien. Va écouter ses VAR au sujet du célèbre client de Sweet Beauté !
Il n’avait rien, s’il n’était pas entré dans le gouvernement il n’aurait eu de quoi louer une salle, ni mobiliser personne. Pourquoi il n’avait pas célébré les anniversaires précédents avec tant de bruits ? Il avait été chassé de la SONES pour sa gestion gabegique et indisciplinée, en tant que DG il s’était même permis de dire que l’eau distribuée n’était pas de bonne qualité, alors que c’était de la responsabilité de la société qu’il dirigeait. Ainsi lui le dernier venu, nul, bavard et prétentieux, avait jeté en pâture tous les cadres du secteur, pourtant beaucoup d’entre eux étaient plus diplômés et plus compétents que lui, formés dans les plus grandes écoles d’ingénieurs et les plus grandes universités au monde. Il n’y a jamais eu de crises ou d’incidents majeurs liés à la qualité de l’eau en milieu urbain au Sénégal, il racontait des histoires, un gros mensonge et d’autres conneries qui lui avaient valu d’être viré de la SONES. Dans tout son parcours avant d’entrer au gouvernement, c’était son seul poste de responsabilité. En Europe même les étudiants peuvent faire des vacations dans les écoles, universités et dans certains organismes, il est loin d’être une sommité intellectuelle, des « docteurs » carriéristes font légion. Tout ce qu’il sait faire c’est parler, et il ne contrôle pas sa langue. Il l’a démontré à l’enseignement supérieur avec des promesses mirobolantes non tenues et une langue pendue. C’est quelqu’un de dangereux, il n’est pas un homme d’Etat, il ne connaît pas la solidarité, s’il reste dans le gouvernement ce sera pour diviser, placer ses hommes, vous affaiblir et vous vilipender en fin de compte. Pire qu’un éléphant dans un magasin de porcelaine, vous n’avez encre rien vu, allez-y rek !
Ce mec est un teaite, trop arrogant et suffisant, mefiez vous de ce faux type a.diouf ,il fait parti des plus grands teaite du Senegal.
