Diomaye Faye en Espagne : la brouille avec Sonko s’invite au programme
President Diomaye Faye will begin a 72-hour official visit to Spain this Tuesday. He is responding to an invitation from King Felipe VI. As with his previous trips abroad, he is expected to meet with the local Senegalese community. However, for this visit to Spain, the head of state will have to do without the young members of the Pastef party.
Indeed, as reported by Les Échos, the Patriotic Youth/Spain has decided to boycott the President, citing a "disagreement" with his positions, which they say contradict the Pastef party line. "The young Patriots are calling for vigilance and urging their comrades not to become 'complicit' in what they consider deviations from the party line," the newspaper reports.
More clearly: the movement whose national coordinator is Ngagne Demba Touré is choosing its side, and making it known openly, in the falling out between Diomaye Faye and his Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, the Patriot in chief.
