The Honorable Amadou Lamine Diouf, a member of parliament for the Pastef party, has broken his silence in the face of a wave of false rumors announcing his supposed disappearance. Through a statement published on his Facebook page, the elected official sought to reassure the public.
"Following the spread of false rumors concerning my alleged disappearance, I wish to reassure all activists, supporters, relatives and citizens. I am well and I am continuing my activities normally," the MP declared.
He also published a video to provide clarifications.
