La pique de Abdourahmane Diouf : « Les statistiques individuelles ne nous intéressent pas, les échappés solitaires non plus...»
Abdourahmane Diouf delivered a speech focused on unity, collective discipline, and unwavering support for the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye. This took place during the "Diomaye President" coalition rally in Mbour this Saturday.
Rejecting the personalization of power and internal rivalries, the minister made it clear that only collective results matter. "A team record. Individual statistics don't interest us. Lone wolves don't interest us. We have only one elected official," he emphasized to the activists and officials present.
For Abdourahmane Diouf, the President of the Republic remains the sole political authority vested in him by the Senegalese people. He reiterated that the Head of State is "the boss of the Prime Minister, ministers, directors general, prefects, mayors, and governors," thus emphasizing the need for all officials to work in the same direction.
In the continuation of his speech, the minister denounced the proliferation of individual stances and claims to embody the line of power: "I told you that the guardians were starting to proliferate. We have chosen only one guardian who is worthwhile," he declared, before presenting President Diomaye as "the guardian of the Constitution and the Republic."
Abdourahmane Diouf finally emphasized the regime's desire to govern in a spirit of appeasement and unity: "With President Diomaye, we have chosen peace and dialogue. We do not have a people divided between 54% and 46%. He is the president of all Senegalese," he concluded to applause.
