« Les souverainistes du monde entier vous regardent » : Le message de Dame Mbodjie à l'endroit du tandem Diomaye-Sonko

The Dakar conference, which brought together Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and geopolitician Pascal Boniface, provided an opportunity for Dame Mbodjie to speak about African sovereignty and Senegal's strategic role. "The power dynamics of the global system are being redrawn before our eyes, wars are multiplying, and people are gripped by existential anxiety," he noted.

In this context, he argues, "the ability to control resources, public policies, economic choices, and collective destiny" is more essential than ever. For Dame Mbodjie, the time for observation is over: "It's no longer about observing global transformations, but about fully participating in them."

This conference, he insisted, is "not a mere seminar," but rather part of building "a national capacity for strategic thinking," where Dakar becomes "a crossroads where the world is considered from an African perspective, a place where visions are constructed and strategies are developed." In this context, Pan-Africanism takes on a new dimension, and "unity, or at the very least deeper integration, becomes a prerequisite for power."

Addressing the highest authorities directly, Dame Mbodjie praised Mayor Abass Fall's commitment to the event's success and Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko's dedication to a sovereign and forward-looking Senegal. He also paid tribute to Mr. Sonko's career, describing him as "an extraordinary figure, a guardian of the revolution, and a source of pride for all of Africa."

Finally, his message was unequivocal: "The tandem you and President Bassirou Diomaye Faye form embodies much hope. Senegal is watching you. Africa is watching you. Sovereignists around the world are watching you. Move forward together and continue to inspire change."

For Dame Mbodjie, sovereignty cannot remain a slogan. It implies active participation in global transformations, strategic control of resources and public policies, and the ability to act on collective destiny.
