Reconquête de Dakar : La stratégie de Khalifa Sall avec l'opposition
Khalifa Ababacar Sall wants to regroup the opposition in preparation for the upcoming local elections. At a rally organized by the Nouvelle Vision movement at the corner of 25th and 22nd Streets in the Medina district, several opposition political leaders gathered around the former mayor of Dakar and Bamba Fall, the mayor of Medina.
In front of a strong mobilization of activists and sympathizers, the leader of Taxawu Senegal praised the political commitment of the mayor of Medina as well as the massive participation recorded during the constituent congress recently organized at the Grand Théâtre.
Taking advantage of this platform, Khalifa Ababacar Sall called for unity among opposition forces to prepare for the reconquest of Dakar's local governments in the upcoming local elections. The political leader emphasized the need to build a common momentum capable of challenging the ruling majority in the capital.
Taking the floor in turn, Bamba Fall expressed particular confidence regarding the upcoming municipal elections. According to him, the opposition is capable of winning "all 19 municipalities of Dakar as well as the City of Dakar."
The two officials finally announced new political initiatives within the framework of the activities of the Front for the Defense of Democracy and the Republic (FDR), in a context marked by the first repositionings in view of the upcoming electoral battles in Dakar.
