The Steering Committee for the implementation of the National Social Stability Pact held a meeting this Tuesday. Following the meeting, the Prime Minister's office published the corrective measures and guidelines adopted by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko. The complete list of these thirteen measures and guidelines is below.

1. Ensure the mobilization of the resources necessary for the implementation of the Pact's action plan;

2. Accelerate the process of adopting the drafts of the new Labour Code and Social Security Code;

3. Strengthen the capacities of social partners and public managers in social dialogue;

4. Revitalize collective bargaining by updating outdated collective agreements and concluding new collective agreements in sectors that do not have them;

5. To regularly and quarterly transmit to the Ministry of Labour sectoral reports on the implementation of commitments by the Ministries concerned;

6. Proceed to install social dialogue committees at the level of Ministries, public and semi-public structures, as well as in professional branches;

7. To facilitate the sectoral technical committees for monitoring commitments in the relevant ministries;

8. Each Ministry should take the necessary steps to allow the completion of the biometric audit of the Civil Service, and the Ministry of Finance and Budget should put in place the budgetary resources for this purpose;

9. Accelerate the reform of the pension system by finalizing the work resulting from the tripartite consultations carried out for this purpose;

10. Complete all the reforms undertaken;

11. Undertake the audit and preservation of university heritage

12. Stabilize the academic calendar as soon as possible

13. Transmit to the social partners the documents presented during the meeting, on sectoral achievements in the implementation of the Pact.
